The student will then use their knowledge that 1 meter = 3.28 ft to convert their US measurement into meters. Students will then use a metric unit and remeasure the same object. A comparison will then be made between what they calculated the length of the object to be (when converting from their US measurement ) and what they measure it to be using the metric ruler.
