Julia and Nicole developed an app similar to Yelp that rates people. When they started they decided that Julia will take care of the 'business' side and that Nicole will take care of the product development. So Julia leased workspace under her name and raised $100,000 from investors. That money was deposited in her personal bank account and Nicole has been receiving a $4000 monthly salary from Julia while she has been busy working on the app itself and on promoting the app through social media. The app costs $0.99 and it has been very successful with millions of downloads. All the revenue has been deposited in Julia's account as well and she has begun drawing $8,000 a month out of the account. Nicole feels this is unfair as she is the person that actually created the app. She has now sued Julia. She claims they should each get $6,000 a month which she thinks would be fair.
