cylinder reciprocating circuits. Upon successful completion of this lab, the learner will be Part C able to: 1. Modify the previous ladder diagram to produce the following - Create ladder networks to turn outputs on and off as required. controls: - Program the PLC to respond to different manual inputs. a. The Red light will come on, solid, when in single cycle, if it is - Use the additive sequence method to write the program. on a continuous cycle will be blinking. b. When sequence is not running (at Home) turn on Blue light in either mode. 1. Open new RsLogix 500 file. 2. Test the program and demonstrate the function to the lab instructor. 2. Create and enter a ladder program to produce the following sequence using additive sequence method: A+B+,A,B The following operator controls must be incorporated: a. PB1 will be used to start the sequence b. Pb2 will be used to stop continuous operation 3. When the ladder diagram has been entered, save it, and then download it to the PLC. Internal Relay (Memory) Bits 4. Demonstrate functioning program to the lab instructor. There are over 4032 (B3) memory bits that can be used as if they were relays for functions such as "HOME", "RUN" and additive sequencer "STEPS". They are addresses as B3/4032, to be used as internal relays or outputs. B 1. Modify the previous ladder diagram to produce the following sequence: A+,B+,C+,AB,C 2. The following operator controls must be incorporated: a. SW1 will be used to select between single or continuous cycles. b. PB1 will be used to start the sequence in either operating mode. c. PB2 will be used to stop the sequence (at rest position) in continuous mode. 3. When the ladder diagram has been entered, save it on a USB, and then download it to the PLC. 4. Test the program and demonstrate the function to the lab instructor
