Anya is a pharmacist who graduated from Saint Louis University and who is now working at a community Pharmacy in Baguio City. Eren, her high school batch mate, visited the store one day to inquire if his prescribed medications are available at the store. Anya read his prescription and discovered that the drugs prescribed are medications that are used to treat HIV. She was about to dispense the medications but was interrupted by Eren. Apparently, Eren couldn't afford the needed medications. He then said that he will just return when he has money already. Anya got worried that the disease will progress if it is not cured immediately. Concerned about her batchmate's condition, Anya messaged Eren's sister (who happened to be her Facebook friend). She told Eren's sister about the incident and asked her if she could tell their parents so that they will be able to finance the medication of Eren. Based on the code of ethics for Pharmacists in the Philippines, RA 10173 and RA 11332, were there any provisions breached? If no, why? If yes, what particular provision/s was or were breached and why? Your sister is a pharmacist is a registered Filipino Pharmacist working in the US. She is practically your best friend so you were so happy that she came home after 10 years of being separated from the family. Her first swab test for COVID-19 turned out negative but she still continued to quarantine herself inside the vacant house that your family owns. Your parents have come up with a system where food and all other necessities are delivered to her with absolutely no contact. After a week and a half, she did another swab test and it turned out to be positive. Your family is 100% sure that there is zero contact between your sister and any other human being. Bringing her to the hospital will only increase the risk of spreading the disease since she is safely quarantined in the vacant house. They all have decided to keep the information to themselves, after all your parents are both doctors and they can take care of their daughter who is just one block away. Based on the code of ethics for Pharmacists in the Philippines, RA 10173 and RA 11332, were there any provisions breached? If no, why? If yes, what particular provision/s was or were breached and why
