Kevin is a 21 year old, Asian male who has been mandated for treatment due to driving under the influence (DUI). He reports that he has been drinking since he was 14 and that his father and grandfather were both alcoholics. His mother has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Upon investigation, you learn that Kevin has also had intense periods of depression followed by manic symptoms such as driving recklessly, less of a need for sleep and risky sexual behaviors.
