Kevin Spells is an Animal Control Officer for the City of Maryville. He has worked for the City for 10 years and he has won many awards for his work. He also has recevied exemplary performance evaluations and hew was voted the Employee of the Year for the City last year. Spells' Supervisor learned that Spells was arrested for staging dog fights on his property. Dog fighting is illegal in the State. Because of Spells' position with the City, many residents and elected officials are demanding that he be fired.
