Part B: The summative reflective assessment will evaluate students' depth of learning, development of knowledge and critical thinking skills regarding people culture and contemporary leadership. Assessment Description Concepts of contemporary leadership have been discussed through the trimester and this assessment aims to challenge your thinking into action. Ibarra (2015) argues "...thinking and introspection should follow action and experimentation-not vice versa. New experiences not only change how you think-your perspective on what is important and worth doing-but also change who you become." This assessment challenges you to reflect on activities, feedback and tasks you have covered through the trimester to discuss what you have discovered about your own leadership potential. If we take into account Ibarra's perspective, leadership is about new experiences, how they drive action and change, then you can reflect and think after the new experience. Assuming MBA401 is more than learning the theory and concepts, but also the opportunity to experience different activities, strategies to collaborate and developing your own skills, therefore giving you a chance to grow and build confidence. Your task is a self-analysis to reflect and critically analyse how you have seen your own growth during the trimester by exploring the activities, assessments and feedback we have completed, reflect on your behaviour (did the activity take you out of your comfort zone or challenge you in some way) and discuss how this can be applied to explain how you can 'act like a leader' and therefore increase your future employment opportunities. To do this will require you to support your assumptions by exploring theory and concepts we have covered over the trimester. The aim is to reflect on your own learnings from the concepts discussed throughout the trimester, engage in collaborative conversations, and generate insights for further analysis and discussion. The process will include reflecting on the students' own work and feedback from previous assessments. Completing a self-assessment and a peer assessment of each group member based on their involvement in the group activity considering one's ability to act as a potential leader and their role as a follower in the collaboration session. Part B: Students will individually write a 1500-word reflective essay to show the depth of learning, development of knowledge and critical thinking skills regarding people culture and contemporary leadership. Write a reflective essay that addresses the following prompts: 1. Introduction: a. Set the context with a summary of your background and experiences before completing MBA401. b. State your objectives and expectations for this reflective assessment. 2. Learning Experience: a.
