To begin with the report, we have first discussed the problems which are faced by SysInteg

while planning the strategy to reduce MCT. The few issues which are being faced by

SysInteg are the supplier's cartons remain at the dock for some time before inspection, the

inspection step is taking a lot more time which is not required and there are some extra

checks included in the Inspection which are not required being a logistic services provider.

Also, it has been analyzed that the main problem which is being faced by SysInteg are quality

and dimension inspection which are delaying the cycle time of orders.

Moreover, after doing an in-depth analysis of all their companies, it has been seen that the

root cause of the problem is "Communication" which can be improved with a few changes in

the operations.

After working on the problem and matrix evaluation, we have suggested a few

recommendations which can help SysInteg to plan its successful strategies. The

recommendations are listed below

1. Eliminate the process of inspecting the spacer disks at DPs end.

2. A quick scan of the batches rather than a detailed inspection

3. Integration of bar code reader

It has been seen that solution 3 has scored highest among the three solutions based on matrix

evaluation. The next step is to implement the solution effectively to achieve the goal.
