Kirrikin is a First Nations Indigenous business created by Amanda Healy, that sells women's and men's clothing that has beautiful aboriginal designs on it. Kirrikin is an aboriginal word, and it literally means 'Sunday best clothes' in Wonnarua language, or refers to 'possum-skin cloak'. The business focusses on providing a social impact by redistributing profits back to indigenous artists who designed the artwork that goes on the clothing. The business currently has some international activities, including selling and producing abroad, promoting at international fashion shows such as those in Brussels and London. Despite this, the CEO of Kirrikin, is interested in further internationalisation strategies, and profit growth.
