Knocks Merry Farm (KMF) is an amusement park similar to Knotts Berry Farm. KMF holds an annual event called, Knocks Scary Farm during the Halloween months. The idea of Knocks Scary Farm is to transform KMF into Halloween decor and with KMF employees dress in scary ghost and monster outfits to scare park customers. The posters advertising Knocks Scary Farm has a picture of gruesome ghosts and monsters roaming around and chasing people with bloody red letters that read, "Prepared to be Scared by our Monsters!" Chuck sees the poster and decides to go.

Kathy applies to be a KMF employee during Knocks Scary Farm nights. During her interview, KMF supervisor tells Kathy, "Please jump out from dark corners to scare the customers, hey it's what they want! You can get close to a customer, but DON'T touch anyone!" Also, sometimes customers react violently. Last year, a customer lost it and took a swing at one of the employees! We are just glad, the customer barely miss hitting the employee. Are you okay with that?" Needing the job, Kathy says, "That's okay, I don't mind people yelling at me." Kathy gets the job.

Chuck buys a ticket on Knocks Scary Farm's opening night. Chuck is walking around a corner when Kathy (dressed in her ghost outfits) jumps out 2 inches from his face and wildly waves her ghostly arms at Chuck. Chuck is scared and afraid Kathy's ghostly arms are going to hit his face. Chuck closes his eyes, yelled, "Get away from me!" Chuck then punches Kathy in the nose. The punch gives Kathy a broken and bloody nose. Still very afraid, Chuck starts to run away from Kathy with his eyes tightly closed. Losing control from running and stepping on slippery ketchup on the ground, Chuck falls hard and bruises his buttocks. The reason ketchup is all over the ground is because instead of painting the ground with non-slippery red paint, like what Knotts Berry Farm does, KMF decides to put slippery ketchup on the ground to make it look bloody.

Slowing getting up, Chuck decides to leave. Still angry about his injury, Chuck walks past a souvenir shelf selling KMF keychains next to a cashier. Limping to the cashier, Chuck points at his hip and says, "Look at my hip! It really hurts! Aren't you guys going to do anything about it?" As the cashier looks at Chuck's hip and not at Chuck's hands, Chuck quickly takes one of the KMF keychains. Chuck puts the keychain into his jacket pocket. KMF's security video sees it and park security calls local police. When Chuck walks out of park and gets to his car, two police officer approach Chuck. The keychain has shifted positions inside Chuck's pocket and now of the KMF keychain is showing and dangling outside of Chuck's pocket. Both officers see the partial KMF keychain and one of the officers says, "Sir, we suspect you have committed a crime, please stop!" Chuck stops. An officer takes out the KMF keychain along with Chuck's own car key. Officer says, "Be honest with us, what else did you take?" Chuck replies, "I didn't take anything else, if you don't believe me, go ahead and look around all you want." Officer presses Chuck's car key and the trunk pops open. Inside the trunk is a dead body. Officer arrests Chuck. Officers seize the dead body and KMF keychain.
