Knowing you are studying law and interning in a law office, a friend wants your advice about career paths and specific jobs available to graduates of the Legal Studies program at UMGC.

In order to help, you decide to review the career resources posted in your LGST 101 classroom.

Part 1

Consult these resources:

• The "Career Information" module;
• The "Bulletin Board" module; and
• Legal Studies Required Major Courses - Legal Studies Bachelor's Degree information page at https://www.umgc.edu/academic-programs/bachelors-degrees/legal-studies-major.cfm

After looking at these resources, please identify and describe:

1. One law-related job a new LGST graduate could pursue;
2. How the Legal Studies program's Required Major Courses can prepare a graduate for the job you've chosen; and
3. One helpful resource / link from either the "Career Information" or "Bulletin Board" modules that will assist a new LGST graduate with learning about career options (not job only job postings). Use the resources in "Career Information" and/or "Bulletin Board"; don't "google" terms or use generic job boards in Part 1.
