Kokemuller (2014) suggested that stakeholders can include customers, employees, communities and business partners, among others. We often forget that employees are stakeholders also and Kokemuller (2014) argued that treating employees as the most valuable stakeholder can lead to strong loyalty and success. The article gave an example of Whelan Security's reliance on the "10-Star Employee Benefit Program" which suggested awareness of employee's morale is the key to success. Thoughts?
