Response: The dysfunction I have chosen to explain in detail is that of avoidance of accountability. Avoidance of accountability is lack of responsibility, without accountability members of the team are not fully committed to the team. Due to the avoidance of accountability team members will likely start blaming each other for mistakes that happen. Additionally, the avoidance of accountability can disintegrate the team due to lack of trust of each other and resentment of individuals not doing what they are supposed to. Due to the lack of accountability there might also be a decrease of commitment as nobody is willing to take accountability for any action, mistake, or responsibility.
