The projectile is a steel ball, which is fired into a stationary, hollow pendulum bob suspended by a rod. The angle for each trial is in the data table below. Determine the average angle. 3. Using the average angle, calculate the change in height of the ball/pendulum. 4. Using Conservation of Mechanical Energy, calculate the velocity of the ball/pendulum after the collision. S. Using Conservation of Linear Momentum, calculate the initial (muzzle) velocity of the ball. 6. Determine if the collision between the ball and the pendulum elastic or inelastic.
