Objectives: . Aim of this lab is to ensure that all students understand the concept of Straightness in GD&T. Identify Whether the given cylindrical part is within the allowable tolerance limit or not. It is used to check round bar roundness. It checks the flatness of an object as compared to the flatness of the standard object. In the mechanical field, dial gauges are used to check the flatness and alignment of various jobs and workpieces. 2 Magnetic stand Lo A magnetic stand that uses a switchable permanent magnet for convenient mounting onto flat iron or steel surfaces.
