Amazon's Career Day Attracts Over $300,000$ Job Seekers

Amazon's job fairs typically attract thousands of job seekers who are willing to stand in line for hours to apply for one of the tech giant's jobs. This year was different. COVID protocols dictated a virtual "Career Day" rather than an in$-$person fair. Amazon looked to fill $33,000$ jobs ranging from warehouse workers to software engineers. The wages offered went from a low of $$15$ an hour to more than $$100,000$ per year. Around $384,000$ job seekers went online to apply for those jobs, the biggest turnout ever.
