Way of Operation: The elevator operates in the following manner: GF State: When the GF up push button is pressed, the elevator door opens and remains open for 5 seconds if the elevator sensor is not triggered. If the sensor is triggered, the timer pauses, and the door remains open indefinitely, when the sensor turns off, the timer resumes at the time it is left and closes once it reaches 5 seconds. This is the same across all 3 floors. Inside the Elevator: When one of the three internal buttons are pressed, the elevator only moves if the door closes and a weight is present on the inside, indicated by the weight sensor placed on the elevator floor. If the door closes and a weight is not present, but one of the internal push buttons is pressed, the relays representing the internal push button is reset. Up and Down Priority: If the elevator is moving up and on the outside one of the down arrows is pressed, the elevator continues upward and reaches its destination. After reaching its destination, it then goes to where the down button was pressed. Note that this applies for the internal push buttons too. Note: If both the up and down push buttons are pressed while ordering the elevator from floor 1, the elevator will give movement priority to whichever internal push button is pressed first, and will move accordingly.
