Consequently, every time the Rangitakatu whnau erect a fence, the Ngaheu whnau destroy it. This argument about the boundary has been going on for more than 80 years but every time the Rangitakatu whnau have approached the Ngaheu whnau it always ends with both whnau arguing. More recently, the Rangitakatu whnau planted a hedge, only to find that the Ngaheu whnau have ripped out all the plants.
