Larry came to a gas station owned and operated by Acme Petroleum to pump gasoline. It was a beautiful and sunny day. Larry overfilled his tank that caused leakage of gasoline on the ground. Larry noticed that a large puddle of gasoline had formed under his car. He looked around and realized that no one else had noticed the gasoline puddle under his car. He was late for a meeting and decided that he did not have time to locate and inform one of the gas station attendants about the gasoline spill. Larry then drove away from the gas station. Jackie arrived approximately 50 minutes later and parked her car over the gasoline spill. Jackie was talking on the phone and did not notice the puddle of gasoline. Jackie continued talking on the phone while she was filling her car. While Jackie was trying to return the gasoline hose to the pump, she dropped her phone on the ground near the puddle of gasoline. The phone caused an electrical spark that ignited the gasoline vapors. There is a local municipal statute that states: "All electronic devices must be turned off while using the gasoline pumps. A violation of this statute is punishable by a fine of $1,000". The ignition of the gasoline under her car caused her gas tank to explode. Jackie suffered sever third degree burns to both her legs. Judy was paying for her gas when she heard the explosion. A large plume of smoke was rising from Jackie's car and Judy could feel the heat from where she was standing Judy immediately ran towards Jackie and tried to pull her away from the fire. Judy was a professional athlete and had recently fractured her right leg while playing soccer. Judy re- fractured her right leg trying to pull Jackie away from the fire. Judy will have permanent disabilities as a result of the re-fracture. Discuss the rights of Judy, if any, against Larry
