Larry Leisure owned a cottage by the lake and a personal boat he called "The Shamrock." After five years, the boat's ability to accelerate had become so feeble that he thought it was time to replace the engine. Larry requested a visit from someone at Frieda's Floaters and Motors, and Frieda herself made the house call. After Frieda gave Larry an estimate of $700 for the total price of installing a new engine ($400 for the engine, $300 for installation) Larry told her that she should go ahead and replace the engine. Before Frieda would go forward, she insisted that Larry first sign a contract which contained the following language, prominently displayed on the front of the contract: "FULL ONE-YEAR WARRANTY All of the motors at Frieda's Floaters and Motors are guaranteed to give you complete satisfaction for a period of at least one year following their installation. If you are not satisfied and you notify us of that fact within this one-year period, Frieda's will repair or replace the defective part. SUCH REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY MADE AVAILABLE TO THE CUSTOMER. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE CUSTOMER BE ELIGIBLE TO RECOVER CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
