Larrys Landscaping & Garden Supply is located at 1045 Main Street, Bayshore, CA. The company provides landscaping services and sells garden supplies to a variety of residential and commercial clients. Three employees are on the payroll and the company stocks some inventory, mainly landscaping materials like irrigation lines, garden lighting and fountain pumps. You see, Im no expert in accounting, but my gut is telling me something may not be right. Its probably just me being paranoid, but I had printed out a balance sheet a couple of weeks ago. I had it on my desk and yesterday I spilled coffee on it. SoI printed out the same balance sheet because I finally had time to review it. Well, I found the numbers were different and they just werent adding up. Im sure its just me being paranoid. But, hey, youre the expert, Larry, the owner of this sole proprietorship, said during his first meeting with you. Well, I dont know. Well see about that, you said. Ill take a look at some of the reports and let you know what I find. Theyre right here, Larry said. I know we use an outdated version of QuickBooks Pro, but it works for us and besides, Duncan and Jenny know how to use QuickBooks. Thats one of the reasons I hired them. Shane, well, he doesnt use it at all. He hates computers. Give that man some shrubbery and a skid steer, however, and hes off and running, keeping my clients happy. Look through the transactions.
