Before she submits the application, she brings it to be checked by you, the paralegal of the attorney who represents the estate. Laurel is not sure she qualifies as an "interested person" because she had seen her grandmother only two or three times before her death.

Laurel believes her priority may be inferior to that of Florence Kingsley, Maryanna's nurse for 17 years, who had lived with and cared for Maryanna.

Laurel has not yet given notice to Georgianna Means, Marianna's daughter, because she does not know Georgianna's address and has not been in contact with her for a long time.

Marianna resided and died in Lewis County, Idaho, but left a farm in a bank account in Orange County, California. Laurel does not know if Lewis County, where she intends to submit her application, is the proper place for administration.

Laurel thinks her uncle, Jason Means, who lives in Orange County, may have been appointed personal representative. If so, this might present a challenge to her own application.
