Patricia did nothing to help Sophie, who eventually drowned. Discuss Patricia's criminal liability, if any. (40 marks) (b) Peter wanted to play a joke on his cousin Sasha. He planned to frighten Sasha by starting a fire at her house. He believed that the fire alarm would go off and Sasha would put out the fire immediately. He set fire to a newspaper and threw it into the house. Sasha died in the fire. Discuss Peter's criminal liability, if any. What difference would it make if Sasha was not home and Sasha's dog, Roro, had died in the fire? (60 marks)
