Law of Contract

Ann is a maid working for the Law family. She is paid $3,860 per month together with full board and lodging. Ann intends to return to the Philippines in May at the end of her contract. In April, Laws daughter Lora, contracts a serious illness, though it is not infectious. Law then asks Ann to stay on for another year and offers her an additional $1,000 a month. Ann agrees and she very carefully looks after Lora. But later on Law refuses to pay the extra $1,000.

Advise Ann whether she could successfully claim the additional pay.
