Law of Partnership

1.Chan, Arjan and Bakar have been running a successful conventional partnership firm called "Chan & Partners". The firm has been running for the past three years. Arjan has not been in good health and he had recently informed his partners of his decision to retire. The partners have agreed to Arjan's retirement and they have also agreed that Arjan's son, Babu, will be admitted as a new partner.

With respect to the above facts, discuss the liabilities of Arjan and Babu for the debts of the partnership.

3.Allan and Bill were partners in a pet shop named "Lovely Pets" in Leisure Mall shopping complex.Bill, without discussing with Allan, entered into a contract with his sister, Camy to open up another pet shop "Pretty Pets" in Leisure Mall.
