MEMO i LAWS 4280i S1E2i 001!4.22 Wit ii COUNSELB .Wi MADAM suzmna KAMARUZZAMAN {335 case BRIEF Dear Counsels We have received an email from a potential client. I enclosed herewith a copy of the email for your attention. Please prepare a Case Brief. Thank you % I I Dear Sir/Madam, I, on behalf of my brother, Ismi would like to seek fer advice with regards to an agreement we entered with the land owner. 1) The land owner, Jamal, recently have sold the land to a new owner and have given the tenant a notice to vacant the land. Referring to the agreement, the house has been sold to the tenant, and the tenant has been paying rental for the land. - Is this allowed since there is nothing stated in the agreement on the land status. 2} The agreement has been signed and witnessed by commissioner for oaths and duty stamp has been paid. - Can this agreement be used in court should the tenant wanted to seek for compensation of damages due to the request for vacant of property and other related cost? 3) For property and land issues, is there by any chance that the tenant could seek for pro-bone since he is self- employed, and his income is not consistent. 4) Should this agreement be used against the owner, is there any chance that he can demand for compensation? At least of what he has spent on the abandoned house and cost of moving etc. Looking forward for your reply. Thank you. KamalStep by Step Solution
