Assignment Overview:

This assignment has two parts. Be sure to carefully read and follow the instructions.

Part 1: Management/Leadership Guidebook

The first part is your own "Management/Leadership Guidebook," something that you take away and keep on your desk or top drawer to remind you of what you learned in this class. It should becomprehensive andsubstantial.

Your guide book must be both original, and drawn from the reading, theories, tools and exercises we have covered in this class. Your guidebook can take any form or format you choose. For instance, it can be a Word document, PowerPoint, a cartoon, an infographic, or a video that you have made.

It should be something that you would proudly share with a perspective employer/boss as part of an interview process or on your first day on a new job. It shouldinclude at least your five main takeawaysfrom this course.

Your guidebook will be graded using these criteria:

Substantive thought went in to creating the guidebook

Originality

Demonstrates deep understanding of the concepts, theories, and tools covered

Application orientedit is clear how you will apply what is in the guidebook.

Note: While flattering if you use course slides, you will not receive credit for these unless you repurpose them in a totally new and innovative way. Please don't just rehash the course slides.
