The purpose of a project plan is to lay out the list of specific tasks, schedule, costs, risks and

dependencies among them.

List of tasks and subtasks. It should include at least the following categories:

$$ Solution Design

$$ Development

$$ Testing

$$ Production Launch

$$ Marketing

$$ Maintenance and support

List of milestones and checkpoints and their planned completion dates

List of dependencies: among tasks as well as any external

List of all the cost for major items$/$tasks

List of all the project risks and risk mitigation plan

Notes:

$$ It is ok to have the plan beyond the duration of this class. But be sure to include

checkpoints$/$milestones on what you plan to have it done before the final of this class.Have your Project Plan reviewed by two persons $($your friends, relatives, co$$workers or classmates$),$ get their inputs, revise and submit both your original Project Plan and its revision.
