Lecture talked about the differences between family/poverty policy between the U.S. and countries like France or Germany, as well as how more extensive social programs are paid for in those countries. Which model would you prefer? One where you pay higher taxes but get more family-friendly policies in return (like free college-tuition, healthcare, daycare, etc..), or one in which taxes are lower but you get less help and pay for most things out of pocket instead
