Legal practice in Kenya is rapidly expanding, with a significant increase in global affiliations and mergers. This brings with it diversity with workers from varied cultures, backgrounds, ages, and languages. This further makes such practices unique in the legal profession. But with this diversity, comes its challenges.

In the case of a large practice where a commercial law department comprises experts from all over the world, internal communication can sometimes be a challenge due to language barriers. Challenge arises when the staff must be engaged as a group. Knowing this, the practice has to adopt tools, methods, and practices that can ensure each group member gets the intended message, in spite of the diversity.
