For this proposal, you will indicate to me what you are planning on writing your final research paper on. In roughly three to four paragraphs, outline what you are intending to focus on for your paper, what your main argument will be (your thesis), what you intend to look at to support your argument, and why you are interested in researching that particular topic. You must also include at least three of the sources that you intend to use in your final research paper and outline briefly what aspects you are intending to use from each source (short paragraph per source). The sources need to be correctly APA formatted and should appear at the end of your proposal. (For more information on APA formatting refer to the website Purdue Owl APA)

I will consider these items when evaluating your proposals:

1. Do you clearly outline what you want to write about, why you are interested in this particular topic, and what your main argument will be?
2. Mechanics (grammar, demonstrates proof-reading, and spelling)
3. Requirements (you have met the requirements outlined above of the assignment ie. Length, title page supplied, details around your argument, and a professional tone)
4. Supplied three sources and clearly indicated what aspects you are using from each source.
