Let the model of a plant be represented using a FOPTD model as G p = 2 5 s + 1 e - 2 s

Let the model of a plant be represented using a FOPTD model as Gp=25s+1e-2s. A
proportional controller with a gain of 15 and a smith predictor is used to control such a
process. For a given set-point (anything can be considered), if there is a +-20% error in
values of process gain, time constant and time delay (consider at least 3 different values of
each variable), provide your comments on the response of Smith predictor control. Discuss
on change in which among the three variables is more sensitive i.e., discuss on relative importance on each type of error in process variables. Further comment on how large a change in gain, time constant and time delay be tolerated before the control loop goes unstable?
