Let's assume at the end of summer that your CTE director or principal has come to you with an amount for your instructional budget for the next school year. The amount you will be given is $8000, of which $6000 will be used for ag mechanics laboratory supplies. Now you must begin the task of determining how to spend the $6000 for your ag mechanics program. You will be teaching 2 periods of Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies (20 students each), 1 period of Agricultural Structures Design and Fabrications ( 15 students), and 1 two-hour class of Practicum in AFNR (Ag Mechanics) (10 students). The agricultural mechanics classes at your school are active. Assume small projects used to teach basic concepts in the Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies course and larger projects in the other courses. Assignment Requirements: Create an instructional budget for the scenario provided. Your budget should have income ($6,000) and expenses with a balance at the end. Each expense should have a justification listed. You can make the budget in either a Word or Excel document. You should have a minimum of 50 different expenses listed. You may want to group expenses by course or by project. The document should be easy to follow and read through. Include the following expenses: - Small project expenses for materials and/or tools purchased for Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies lesson (name each project, minimum of 5) - Consumables used in the laboratory (may have to research) PPE Cleaning Supplies Welding Supplies Gases Etc.
