objectives. Identify and demonstrate your understanding of

three to four techniques from this week's materials that are

used by business analysts when confirming elicitation

results. These techniques will help build the foundation.

This is a very important step, as poor requirements usually

result in failed projects at some level. Your class

understands the impact of poor requirements being

magnified as you, the business analyst, move from high$-$

level requirements toward functional and non$-$functional

requirements. You are aware from our earlier courses that

the cost of any rework of functional requirements has the

highest failure cost because these requirements define the

technical specification and design of the solution. Business

analysts must work closely with stakeholders, engage them

and build relationships based on mutual trust. Are

relationships needed? Take this time to outline these areas

and explain how you will ensure quality elicitation results

are achieved.
