Lets pretend you are the head coach of a professional baseball team. Your director tells you that he wants three new players for next year squad. However, he doesn't want to have players who's salary exceed 25,500,000 dollars. He also doesn't want more then 1 recommendation per position ( exception for OUTFIELD who can have 2 players). Also, he wants to have a combination of youth and veterans, ( range of groups are 21-23, 23-25, 25-27, 29-31, 31-33) Finally, the director says that he values the most the ability of the players ( how many games they are able to play per year), but also the getting on base ( on-base percentage) of the players, and how many runs the players can make. The goal of the head coach is to try to find the three best players that can fit the best these criterias. With all these informations give 3 null hypothesis and 3 alternative hypothesis (it can be done through ANOVA, T-TEST, CORRELATION, OR REGRESSION) that could help resolving the issue.
