Her teacher asked to speak to her to see if she was okay. Lila reported to her school teacher that her stepmother had hit her with a wooden spoon for not listening and tidying her bedroom. Lila says it is not the first time her stepmother has hit her, she shared that she has been hit on her back and legs, and she shows the teacher a yellowy green bruise on her leg. The teacher refers the matter to Children Services.
