Lithium became one of the minerals which is highly demanded in the market due to its established use which is

replacing platinum in Zimbabwe. A project design team has been set up and tasked to design a lithium processing

plant taking into consideration state of the art processing technologies to produce lithium carbonate whilst

dealing with a plant production capacity of $30$ tonnes per hour. Mass and heat balances will be individual effort

and it is expected that each member within the group will present a different detailed design of a selected plant
