Question:
Little Albert
The study was trying to explore how humans can be conditioned. They tried to condition a nine month old baby using animals and scary noises. A negative impact that arose from this was that they never reconditioned baby Albert, so he was permanently traumatized by this experiment. The researchers simply thought that the study would contribute to the idea of behaviorism.
Milgram Obedience Study
When studying was done to research if people would go against their morals when pushed to do so by someone with authority. The experiment made the participants feel as though they had severely harmed another person just for a research study. They also did not have informed consent which is unethical research moral.
Stanford Prison Study
These researchers were trying to study how being placed in different social roles affected how they behaved. This caused the men in the role of prisoners to have panic and disorientation. The men in the role of guards use their authority to become abusive which ultimately lead to permanent harm of the men in lower authority rolls.
Each one of these studies did not follow moral ethical research as there was a lack of consent. The studies were also extremely unethical, as they caused permanent harm to the participants.
