Scenario instructions: You are required to complete the following activities and must document them using the templates in Appendices A1 and A2. In consultation with relevant stakeholders, you are to determine and then document the risk management objectives for the project. (Approx. 100-150 words). The consultation will be done as a simulated workplace scenario with your Trainer & Assessor. Your Trainer & Assessor will be playing the role of two (2} of the stakeholders involved in this project: Peter and Michael. Your first step is to contact each stakeholder individually to determine risk management objectives and standards for the project. Use the following methods: 0 Project Director (Peter) in a face to face meeting 0 Finance Manager (Michael) by phone Book a time with your Trainer & Assessor to carry out each of these activities and keep a record of your communications with each stakeholder. 1. Identify and list two (2) Australian, international, industry or organisational risk management standards and strategies that will be used in the project. 2. Briefly describe the project risk management process that will be used for this project. (Approx. 75 words} 3. Identify and briefly describe four (4) risk management tools, techniques and methods that will be utilised to manage project risk throughout the life-cycle of the project. (Approx. 20 words/example) 4. Consult with relevant stakeholders to brainstorm and identify five (5) risk categories (e.g. compliance, nancial, technology, business, and HR) and at least two (2) risks for each category (e.g. noncompliance with legislation, slow internet etc). These risks may include threats and opportunities. This should result in a total of ten (10) identied risks that should be documented in Appendix A2 - Risk Register .
