Locate the Notes to the Financial Statements. Determine if your companies have a note providing information about the business segments in which the company operates. Often, companies label this note "segments" or "operating segments". Which segment is most important to each company? On what do you base that assessment? Is the mix of revenue from the different segments changing across time for either company?
