look at a news item of a recent ethical crisis involving the automobile manufacturer Volkswagen, and identify the major groups of stakeholders that were impacted by this crisis.

In 2015, Volkswagen was accused of engineering a "defeat device" in diesel cars which enabled the cars to pass emissions tests while actually emitting as much as 40 times the allowed level of nitrogen oxide pollutants into the atmosphere (BBC, 2015). This device was included in many models of diesel cars sold by Volkswagen and marketed as "clean diesel" (CBC, 2015).

As a result, many different groups in society were disappointed by this information and many felt they had been betrayed (CBC, 2015).

For your paper, please answer the following questions:

1. Identify at least 8 major stakeholder groups who were impacted by this crisis. You may wish to reference your text Chapter 3 page 75 regarding "Stakeholder Categories" to help develop a list of stakeholders. You may use a table or grid for this information.
2. For each of the stakeholders you have identified above, please classify them using the "Stakeholder Interest" model which is outlined in Chapter 3 page 80. Please write one or two sentences for each stakeholder to justify why you classified them the way you did. Plot the stakeholders on the grid. Include this grid as an additional page or incorporate it into your paper itself.
3. Finally, please comment on how you view Volkswagen's internal commitment to corporate social responsibility prior to the discovery of the defeat device in 2015. What was their commitment to society and the environment? Has their outlook changed since that time?
