Just from looking at Maps tell me what is different about them?

(hint - it is those very differences that might be important to resolving a case - not always political. For example, California has a whole bunch of cases already decided that have to do with maintaining and preserving coastal waterways. So it makes it an attractive jurisdiction if say Washington State or Oregon based companies need to sue to over issues related to coastal waterways)
