Look up each one of these words and write a definition for each. These are words that appear in the reading and are necessary for understanding. There are many of them, some you might know, some you might not. The texts on the final exam tend to use vocabularies that can be somewhat difficult. Some words I have completed for you. Some have several definitions. In these cases I have tried to highlight the part of speech of the word so you can find the right one. When you are reading and come to one of these words, take a look at your list to remind yourself what it means so you can take in the full meaning of the word. First, download the attached document. Then, use an online dictionary to look up the definitions and copy and paste them into this document. You can do this by highlighting the definition and then clicking with the right mouse button and choosing copy. Then, go to your document and right click and hit 'paste. You can also use keyboard shortcuts-copy is Ctrl + C. paste is Ctrl + V. Put a dash in between the word and its definition.
