(a) Draw a free-body diagram of pulley K to show that the tensions in the hoist wire on both sides of the pulley are equal to (1000 kg)g
(without assuming so), where g is the acceleration due to gravity.

(b) Draw a free-body diagram and write, but do not solve, the three equations that determine the force on members CB, CG and F G. Except for these three unknown forces, the equations should be in terms of known quantities.
