Love and marriage and horse and carriage:-)
Here we come to our last discussion. Lets make it fun.
Is the Institution of Marriage at Risk? Or did it even expand to mean much more with the latest historical events?
What are your views?
Sociologist Andrew J. Cherlin suggests that the institution of marriage is losing its preeminence and may become just one of many relationship options for couples. Frank Furstenberg, on the other hand, proposes that the institution of marriage will persist with appropriate government policies and support to families. and for those of us who are lucky to witness even bigger and more important historical changes that the supreme courts finally announced making equal the rights of anyone wanting to partner with anyone in the name of the marriage institution. so now what?
