Lucas and Emily started a business together in which they provide custom machining parts to businesses all over the world (they provide parts to nuclear power plants, Gillet, air-Canada and more). Business has been very successful and the two of them have always got along. They are bother and sister. The company is a publicly traded company. However, recently the two of them have started fighting. It turns out Lucas owes Emily $30,000.00 which Emily lent Lucas a few years back. The news media has caught wind of the fight going on and as a result have been reporting it all throughout the news. As a result, the value of shares in the corporations has significantly dropped. If the fighting continues, the shares may drop more and more in value.

You have been asked by Emily to make a plan for how this issue might be resolved. She wants to know what her options are as it relates to resolving this dispute with her brother. She still very much loves him and wants to work things out, but wants to know all her options. What would you advise she do? What sort of plan might you suggest?
