Lucille hired Pancho and Lefty to work as security guards at her seaside hotel, the Hotel California in our town. The two guards worked hourly and Lucille provided the uniforms, flashlights and a vehicle to patrol the parking lot. One night, during their break, Pancho and Lefty were sitting on the dock of the bay listening to the sound of silence. Then the two guards heard a noise just off the country road near the hotel. The country road borders hotel property but is not owned by the hotel; the guards leave on foot to investigate. A desperado was trying to steal a little red corvette down below that one of the guests had parked on the country road. Pancho and Lefty shined their flashlights on the man's face, his back in black shadows. Pancho yelled, "Beat it, or you'll be sorry!" The desperado came to his senses and ran away. The guards chased and tackled the desperado, seriously injuring him. Pretend you are an attorney for Big, Bad, Leroy, Brown, a prominent law firm representing Lucille and the hotel.
