Luna and Mateo are in your preschool class. Mateo has recently become very interested in having a girlfriend. He constantly asks girls in your class if they will be his girlfriend. With all the other girls in the class, Mateo leaves them alone when they say no or otherwise rebuke his request. However, Luna has asked him to leave her alone multiple times, and yet Mateo asks her every day if she will be his girlfriend and is getting pushier with her, holding her hand, and trying to hug her. Luna has started crying and screaming every time Mateo comes near her, for any reason. You are concerned about Luna's response, but also want to teach Mateo about being respectful and respecting boundaries. How will you deal with each student? How could this be addressed as a full class lesson in boundaries and respect?
