Lux Resort and Spa hires without a background check a bellman that will do the transferring of one guest to another villa. It was, later on, discovered that the said bellman was an escapee from imprisonment for the crime of rape. Should the said bellman commit another rape in the resort and spa premises, would you consider the management of Lux Resort and Spa accountable? A provincial government's truck was about to go to the river to get gravel and sands to be used in the construction and repair of its road (a government function) when it bumped and ran over a number of students crossing the pedestrian lane during their educational tour resulting in the latter's accident and/or death. Can the parents sue the government? how about the the travel agency and tour operator, can they be sued for the accident?
