M8D1: What will the Economic Impact be on Health Care?

Many important factors influencing health and health care have more to do with economics and social policy than with any particular medical treatment or procedure. For example, economic opportunity motivates and enables people to invest in their health; its absence does the reverse.

Health care organizations are crucial to any economy. As health care administrators, our responsibility would be to give or offer quality health care to the maximum number of citizens. During a recession or inflation, people will have very little money to spend; in this case, the economy shall be in a state of shock. Therefore, it will be the sole responsibility of the Government to sponsor free Medicare and take care of Medicaid procedures.

Healthcare is one of the most important sectors in an economy that has the capacity to attract most of the money from the market. In this case, healthcare must be given the utmost attention and ensure that technological advancements are not affecting their sector. In addition, healthcare costs are increasing due to increased treatment costs and vice versa. Hence, the economy of US health care is experiencing a surge and is on an upspring.
